Bridging Global Care with Community Wisdom
Cascadia-Kigatto Community Health Clinic — Butambala, Uganda
Mission
Everyone is welcome, and no one is turned away.
Our mission is to bridge Western integrative care with local community wisdom to promote health, prevent infectious disease, and deliver culturally rooted, evidence‑based care to the people of Butambala Kigatto ; serving every child, elder, parent, and neighbor, regardless of ability to pay.
Care for every family
Primary care, maternal and child health, vaccinations, first aid and screening ; under one roof.
Rooted in the community
Our Community Health Workers walk the villages, sit in the homes, and listen before they advise.
Open to everyone
No family is turned away. Costs are met by partners, donors and the global community of friends.
Our Vision
Essential care, minutes from home.
The Cascadia-Kigatto Community Health Clinic is a community-led project bringing essential care closer to home for more than 1,000 people. Instead of walking long distances, families will access vaccines, first aid, maternal care, malaria treatment, TB testing, and essential medicines within minutes.
Licensed Community Care
Licensed doctors and nurses from the community will provide the care at CKCHC - familiar faces, trusted hands.
CHW Household Visits
Trained Community Health Workers visit households delivering health education, early detection, and referral resources.
What we do
Care across every season of life.
Community Health Workers
The clinic that walks to your door.
Our Community Health Workers (CHWs) are neighbors trained to bring care, education and dignity to every household in the Butambala Kigatto.
Neighbors and community members gathered beside the clinic water tank in Kigatto — when the clinic opens in August, our Community Health Workers will visit every home on this hillside, sitting with families and carrying care to every doorstep.
Our impact to date
Small clinic. Big neighborhood.
Every figure here is a child immunized, a mother safely delivered, a wound dressed, a fever broken. The clinic is small by design and big in reach.
Every patient visit, every vaccination, every home visit is made possible by supporters like you.
Support the ClinicCommunity voices
“I don't trust vaccines. But I trust Umar. He is our son. When the clinic opens, all my children will be vaccinated there.”
Stand with us
Care doesn't happen without you.
Every donation funds medicines, every volunteer hour expands our reach, every visit reminds a neighbor they are not alone.
